Plateau Properties offers land for sale in six different Tennessee counties. We aren't brokers; Tennessee wooded land is sold here the old-fashioned way, as it has been for over a century at Plateau Properties. Just a little money down will get you started. We do the financing. Since the property is its own collateral, there's no wait for credit approval. Contact us today by e-mail, or call us today at 931-484-5535 or 866-490-LAND (5263).

For over a century, residential, commercial property, and "acreage" or large tracts have been sold from our office.

Plateau Properties has offerings in six Tennessee counties on the Cumberland Plateau: Cumberland, Morgan, Fentress, Putnam, White, and Scott.

We also sell commercial property, large tracts. Need an upscale commercial building site on interstate I-40 for a business? We can help.

We sell land, not houses. You visit and tell us what you want. We give you a current listing of what we have available including price, terms, and a map. You can go by yourself to look at the property. No pressure. No haggling.

If you like it, a little money down will usually do it. We do the financing. Since the property is its own collateral, there's no wait for credit approval.

The future...

In our century, the staff has changed, of course, as has the business structure and the name over the door. However, it has been in this form and under this name since 1960.

We are prepared to help you if you are seeking solitude or a solid investment. Want to live in the very nice residential area? Ask us about RidgeView!

E-mail or call for general information about our offerings or our area in general at 931-484-5535 or 866-490-5263.

Looking for a great Tennessee vacation?

The Cumberland Plateau is a great place to live, and Cumberland County attracts plenty of vacationers who end up making it a permanent address.

Vacation ideas anyone? Here are just a few ideas to get you started.

There are pristine streams for fishing and whitewater sports, and plenty of untouched wilderness for hiking. But there are also resorts and golf courses... an embarrassment of riches, perhaps.

If you are vacationing on the plateau, we are connected with another land office, Bruno Gernt in Fentress County, that can provide a cabin for you and a stable for your horse. Their stables have over 100 miles of trails on 12,000 acres. There's a lot of space on the Cumberland Plateau.

Selected properties and area descriptions

Meridian is especially nice area in southeast Cumberland County, with beautiful rolling hills. There is a new phase and a good selection.

Tabletop & Cumberland Mountain Acres are just barely in Putnam County both on and off Jim Garrett Road less than a mile from Highway 62, with five-to-20 acre tracts available. The Monterey Reservoir is behind some lots, and some have bluffs and creeks.

JJ Bears and Daddy's Creek are for someone seeking exceptional privacy and pristine natural beauty. Sixty acres along Daddy's Creek is a special piece.

RidgeView at I-40 and Peavine Road... Phase II of the residential lots has been paved and the first house is about to start construction.

M7 - Just as an example of a very large tract in our inventory (right now, we have five tracts over 1000 acres), M7 is located northeast of Cumberland County, in Morgan County. With 3,117 acres, that's almost five square miles of wooded land. Still, land on the plateau is very reasonably priced.
